Soy maestra de secundaria.
Mi esposa es maestra de primaria. Tenemos una hija, que va a la escuela donde mi esposa y yo enseñamos. Comencé a enseñar hace 16 años, el mismo año en que me mudé a Mountain View y comencé a ser voluntario en MVWSD. Serví en la junta escolar de MVWSD de 2012-15. Candidate Statement
Soy un maestro de escuela intermedia y entrenador de tecnología educativa con 16 años de experiencia en escuelas públicas y privadas, incluida la enseñanza diaria remota en vivo el último trimestre. Creo que la equidad proporciona a todos los niños acceso a experiencias igualmente innovadoras, especialmente durante el cierre de la escuela. El aprendizaje socioemocional debe ser la prioridad uno en este momento.
He sido dos veces el maestro del año. Tengo una maestría en enseñanza de Stanford y una maestría en liderazgo escolar de Columbia. El aprendizaje poderoso no les dice a los maestros cómo enseñar. Establece una cultura de autonomía en todo el distrito, altas expectativas, intercambio, celebración y un sentido de pertenencia.
